Two ways in
Pick the path that fits.
For founders
Apply for funding. Applications route through our How It Works funnel — apply, then pitch, then due diligence — before members invest and, often, join your board or mentor alongside you. High-growth, technology-driven startups in IT, life sciences and advanced materials are the best fit.
For investors
Become a member. Regular membership (voting) is for active accredited angels; the Ascent starter tier is education-focused and begins at a $25,000 minimum commitment. Accredited-investor requirements apply to both.

- Non-profit angel group. QCA Ventures is organized as a 501(c)(6) — built around founders, not fund fees.
- Education is part of the model. Founder training runs through the QCA Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3), doing business as Startup College®, with more than 1,000 entrepreneurs trained.
- Formerly Queen City Angels. Founded in Cincinnati in 2000 and rebranded to QCA Ventures in February 2026 — the mission has not changed.
